An exquisite pair of early 19th-century Georgian giltwood armchairs, hand-carved and richly detailed, crafted in England circa 1820. Each chair features a sculptural giltwood frame with sweeping scroll arms, acanthus leaf carvings, and shell motifs over cabriole legs ending in stylized paw feet.
The original gilded finish displays a beautifully aged patina, giving these chairs an authentic warmth and depth of character. Upholstered in a later blue and ivory damask fabric that complements the refined silhouette. These chairs embody the grace and craftsmanship of Georgian England and make a striking statement in both traditional and eclectic interiors.
